I have chosen a short written report authorise Pigeon at Daybreak for my assigment at this time. The story entitled Pigeons at Daybreak by Anita Desai of India is a representation of cut and acceptance. The close literary critism that I found in the story is feminism critism. There are many examples in this story that explains the variety against women. Otima is a middle-class women. Otima was a a loyal married woman to her married man. Since they were married he was doing all the housework.
Otima contributes all her savor to her husband Mr. Basu. Despite ignorance and rebuke, equ qualified Otima Cares ab go forth her husband every iodin minute, Ill bring you your inhaler. This reason can also be seen in the story where Otima will check newspapers to her husband every day because her husband has not able to see clearly. Basu always say that the news was read out by his wife is wrong. Otima can not talk keystone to her husband.
