But to be able to store anything as a keeping, rootage it must go through a series of processes cognize as encoding, storage, and retrieval. Encoding is one of the tether basic steps that involve the modification of information to clothe the preferred format of the computer depot system. In other words, our musical theme takes the information it receives and alters it into a meaningful form such as an association with an existing image, memory, or sound. To do so, your mind would buzz off to select stimulus events from the vast array of inputs assaulting your senses, and then you would signalise distinct features in that input. It could be a loud, soft, or vinegarish sound that could remind you of a song, a plane winning off, or a voice. Finally, you would mentally attach that information to something like and experience to make it meaningful and help you remember it longstanding. remembering is the process that retains or holds the memory over a level of time. The more meaning that the memory or information has, the longer it will stay in the minds memory banks. Storage goes a lot deeper though, and actually consists of three briny stages.
