Black Hawk Down is a movie directed by Ridley Scott, which retells a story that is based on true facts. It capable the weaknesses of political ideology and military constraints. In 1992, a civil war creating famine engrossed the country of Mogadishu. Mohammad Farah Aidid, swayer of Mogadishu was the most powerful of the warlords. He seized international viands shipments at the ports, using hunger as his weapon, and over 300,000 deaths occurred as a result. 20,000 Marines delivered food to the country and order was once restored. Mohammad Aidid waited until the marines unexpended and declared war on the remaining UN peacekeepers. In June his militia ambushed and slaughtered 24 Pakistani soldiers and began to target American personnel, and as a result in late August, Americas elect(ip) soldiers, Delta Force, Army Rangers, and the 160th SOAR were sent to remove Aidid and to restore order once more.
United States (US) army leaders and Delta force captured Osman Ali Atto, who was selling arms to the militia of Aidid. US Military leaders planned a mission to capture Omar Salad Elmi and Abdi Hassan Awale Qeybdiid, two of Aidids travel by political advisers. Sgt. Matthew Eversmann was placed in command of Ranger chalk Four, after Lt. Beales suffered from an injury to his hand. This was Eversmanns first command.
