CTION 1. QUALIFICATION AND RULES OF MEMBERSHIP
A. All instructors employed by Southwest Airlines, and not considered Management, shall
be eligible for sh atomic number 18ship in the Association.
B. Instructors who be doubtful employees shall be eligible for membership during
the first full month following the completion of such instructors probationary period.
Probationary instructors shall have the right to attend meetings, introduce proposals,
and insert in dissertateions.
C. Members delinquent in any assessments for more than 60 (60) days will foreswear their
right to vote, introduce, or discuss any item of business at any meeting, forfeit their
right to the privileges and protection afforded members of the Association, until such
time as the sin is removed. Such members shall pay all back dues or
assessments to furbish up their full membership privileges. Associate members shall be
allowed to reinstate their privileges upon deport to the line without paying further
back dues.
D. A member in good standing shall automatically be transferred to sluggish membership
status upon:
(1) macrocosm furloughed by the Company;
(2) beingness on leave of absence from the Company (includes medical leave);
(3) Being in the United States military forces on active affair in excess of four
weeks.




E. Active Association members are entitled to participate in all Association activities and
are entitled to all of the rights, privileges, and benefits of membership.
SECTION 2. DUES AND DUES DETERMINATION
A. A members obligation for dues shall commence as of the date of eligibility for active
membership. Dues shall be paid on a monthly basis by employer dues check-off.
B. Dues shall be as determined by a absolute majority vote of the membership and shall be
expressed as a percentage of gross salary. Examples based on $3500 per month.
Dues example: periodical salary of $3500
