Situation Background Riordan Manufacturing is a global plastics producer which employs 550 passel spread across three states and China. The company is wholly own by Riordan Industries, a Fortune 1000 company with revenues in excess of $1 billion. Poor sales and uneven cabbage over the past two years prompted the company to perplex several strategic changes to its sales process and adopt a customer-relationship management (CRM) process.

Instead of being serviced by a integrity person, customers now have a sales team do up of a sales rep, product engineering specialiser and customer service rep. To improve their manufacturing process Riordan has adopted a Six Sigma process and is ISO9000 certified.
