I have a strong belief that the involvement in music and beauteous arts helps young people exercise their scholastic dexterity to succeed at anything they put their minds too. Usually, when kids are in any extracurricular activity they are much more focused on their grades in comparison to ones who arent.

I know I was when I was in the thespian society. We were not able to introduce in the play if we didnt make good grades. be active in arts stimulates their mind and assists them in a academic advancement. For instance, most people in band, chorus, or drama are honor roll students. Most teachers can steady tell you that some of their best students are into one of these art forms. I know from personal experience that drama kept me busy and out of trouble. Instead of hanging out with the stoners alfresco I was busy learning lines and trying on costumes for plays.
